Getting the card

Joining SIGA Rewards is free. Painted Hand Casino has a desk for SIGA Rewards. Saskatchewan's legal gambling age is 19, and the casino floor is open to adults 19 and older. Anyone under 19 at a SIGA casino counts as a prohibited individual and cannot collect winnings.

Seven casinos, one club

SIGA Rewards is a single club with four tiers, shared by the seven casinos of the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority. The same card works at each of them. Four of them are Northern Lights in Prince Albert, Gold Eagle in North Battleford, Gold Horse in Lloydminster and Dakota Dunes south of Saskatoon. The other three are Bear Claw north of Carlyle, Painted Hand in Yorkton and Living Sky in Swift Current.

Ten percent off food

A SIGA Rewards member who shows the card gets 10% off a restaurant or deli order at SIGA locations. Here that means Legends Restaurant, open 11 am to 9 pm Sunday through Thursday and to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. The Deli & Bar runs 11 am to 2 am all week. Holiday hours are not published; 306-786-6777 is the number to check.

5

days in a row, at most, for an RV

Figure 04 · The card

The card and an RV stay

The lot welcomes RVs, and the process involves the SIGA Rewards card. Guests arrange a stay by bringing the card to the Guest Services desk, after which security or the Casino Shift Manager gives approval. A stay can last no more than 5 days in a row. Spots are first come, first served, and no reservations are taken. Each person in the RV has to be at least 19.

What the rules leave out

Members earn points and credits, and they receive member offers, discounts and rewards. Two things are missing from the published rules. Neither the earning rate nor the requirements for each of the four tiers appear on the casino's pages. Tessera does not estimate either figure. A question about either one goes to the SIGA Rewards desk at the casino or to 306-786-6777.

Questions

Questions and short answers

01Is there a fee for a SIGA Rewards card?

There is no fee: membership in SIGA Rewards costs nothing. Painted Hand Casino has its own SIGA Rewards desk.

02Is the card good in Prince Albert or Swift Current?

The card works in both towns. Northern Lights in Prince Albert and Living Sky in Swift Current belong to the same club as Painted Hand, along with four other SIGA casinos.

03Is the card needed for an RV stay?

RV stays are set up by presenting a SIGA Rewards card at Guest Services, with approval from security or the Casino Shift Manager. A visit can run no more than 5 consecutive days, and all occupants must be 19 or older.

04How many points does a dollar of play earn?

That rate is not published, and neither are the requirements for the four tiers. Tessera does not guess at either number. The SIGA Rewards desk or 306-786-6777 can answer.
